Description

Color printers are much easier to get and maintain than they were years ago. They used to be expensive pieces of equipment that only businesses and people with a lot of money could afford. Now, the prices have come down and almost anybody could get a very nice printer for $100.

Benefits of Color Printers

When you are printing documents from home or at a business, sometimes there is colored logos and designs that need to be reproduced. A colored printer can quickly and easily do the job and you don’t have to think twice about going out to get copies or having to use only black and white.

Color on your documents, whether it is a brochure, a flyer or a sales ad will look much nicer when it is done in color. Color automatically attracts a person’s eye, so it will get more attention. And why bother with making the document if it weren’t to get attention, right?

Expenses with Colored Printers

If you do a lot of printing on your computer, then you can expect to have a lot of money tied up in ink. Colored cartridges are always separate than black ones, so you will have to buy both for color printers, no matter what kind you buy. An ink cartridge can run anywhere from $20 each to $60 each, depending on the size and style of printer you are buying for. Other expenses with a color printer could include the different types of paper you print on. Colored printers can reproduce pictures, so you might also want to invest in picture paper so you can print out pictures at home, when you want to instead of waiting for processing to be done.
